How to fix different page numbers problem of portrait and landscape pages in MS Word document for continuous page numbering
Many computers operators and experts faced a similar problem like different page numbers or interrupted page numbering while typing a document or preparing a reports, there has to prepare information in both portrait and landscape pages in single document and while giving page numbering, there will be a problem appeared that the page numbers displaying as different numbers from previous page or previous sections like if previous page is portrait and next page is landscape, the page numbers are appearing different from portrait page to landscape and facing to fix this problem, the computer operators or experts searching in Google also to fix the problem. But, there is no suitable solution displayed. To fix this problem here are provided easy steps to fix different numbers in portrait and landscape pages contained document to continuous page numbering in Microsoft Word 2007 or a newer version of MS Word.
Here, I am sharing the options to fix different page numbers to continuous page numbering portrait to landscape pages:
To give page numbers in a MS Word document you may know that proceed to “Insert” option and then Choose “Page Number”, give a page number command “Bottom” or “Top” options.
If you see the different page numbers in portrait to landscape pages or sections, please follow these steps to fix the different numbers problem
=> Double click on page number, which is appeared different from previous page or section and then select “Format Page Number”
=> After that, there will be seen as two options as “Continue from previous section” and Start from “1”. Here you select “Continue from previous section” then press OK.
