Nirmala Sitaraman is the second woman after Indira Gandhi

Nirmala Seetharaman, who got opportunity to chair in Central Cabinet Ministry of Indian Government as Defense Minister.  An record written on her name automatically that is Nirmala Sitharaman is the second Woman Minister of Defense of Indian Government and the first woman, who done the Defense Ministry earlier was Srimati Indira Gandhi (late).

Nirmala Sitharaman personal and Education details:

Nirmala Seetharaman belongs to Madurai city of Tamil Nadu State.  She born on 18th August, 1959.  Her father Narayanan Sitharaman was Railway Employee and Mother house wife.  She studied M.A. (Economics) in Jawaharlal University in Delhi.  She worked in many positions in private sectors and she also worked in BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation).  She got love marriage with Parakala Prabhakar, who is now in a position of Chief Advisor to Government of Andhra Pradesh.  Parakala Prabhakar also worked as State General Secretary of BJP in Andhra Pradesh.  He came in to politics (BJP) during 2000 year.  

Political Entry of Nirmala Sitharaman:

With the bond of her husband Parakala Prabhakar, Nirmala Sitharaman attracted to join in BJP during 2006 year and after she worked in a miserable position in a party when Nithin Gadkari hold the President Chair of BJP and she treated from that period to till date as one of the important person of BJP.  Nirmala got amazing opportunity within a short period of her political life as she got Central Co Minister Position in Modi's Government after the general elections during 2014 year and now a great chance she got as Defense Ministry in Cabinet of Narendra Modi.  This is the second woman, who seated Defense Ministry, firstly Congress Legend Srimathi Indira Gandi chaired as Defense Minister and now the second woman for Defense Ministry is Nirmala Sitharaman.

Achievements of Nirmala Sitharaman in previous Ministry:

Nirmala Sitharaman special focussed on Exports and Imports of India as a Commerce Minister and also she done important discussions with RCEP, World Trade Organization and Indian Trade Circles are benefited as a result of these discussions.  She involved in many important things, which Government instructed her to do the work.
