Mary Kom won the Gold Medal in Women’s Boxing Championship and created history
Mc Mary Kom, who already won 4 Gold Medal and One Silver Medal
in previous tournaments, which she has been shown professionalism.
Now, again she won the Gold Medal in Asian Women’s Boxing
Championships, which she has less expectations on her in this tournament. This is the 5th Gold Medal as Woman
Boxer for her and also she makes India proud and created record as a woman boxer,
who won 5 Gold Medals never before in Indian History.
Even though, she disappointed in Rio Olympics 2016, but this
time she came back with her punchy professionalism. Especially, she shown her command on Boxing in
second and third rounds, as she chosen her preferable punches and used well the
opportunities came her in these rounds. Her
game plan and strategy materialized well to won the final as Champion.
Mc Mary Kom’s last medal was in the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon
and she was became first Indian woman boxer to won the Gold Medal in Women’s Flyweight
(51 Kg) category. This tournament is a wonderful
opportunity to prove herself and she also utilized this opportunity well and come
back with a bang.
