Children’s Day also known as Bal Diwas have been
celebrating in India on 14th November every year on the birthday of
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to tribute him with Children since his death in the
year 1964.

India? The Children’s Day was celebrated
on 20th November before death of Chacha Nehru and after he died the
Indian Government observed Children’s Day on his birth anniversary every year
i.e. 14th November to tribute him, as he was loves so much the children
and he spent lot of time with children in his free times.
Purpose of Children’s Day:
On this day, the schools conduct cultural events for
encouraging children and distribute chocolates, sweets to the children and it aimed
to strengthen the self confidence to the children and to create awareness to the
parents in guardian well to give a good citizen to the society from their children.
