Why Donald Trump withdrawn US from UNESCO
As per the web and electronic media sources, America
President Mr. Donald Trump taken sensational decision and withdrawn United States
from UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural
Organization). The State Department of America
announced this decision officially. They
stated that this decision will come in to force from 31st December, 2018,
but, continue in the role of Permanent Supervison in UNESCO. The US Official, Heder Nawert said that, Mr. Donald
Trump, President of America taken this decision in protest of “continuing anti-israel
bias”.
The State Department
said that “This decision not taken ligtly, it reflects that the protest of America
against the arrears, which has been pending with UNESCO, there is a need to make
fundamental reform in UNESCO and continuing
anti-Israel bias".
Irina Bocowa, Director
General of UNESCO has responded on US decision and expressed sadness over the issue.
America’s decision becomes sensational while
proceeding UNESCO to elect new Director.
As per the analysts’
opinion, there is a link of Palastina – Israel controversy behind the decision of
America withdrawn from UNESCO. The controversy
has been alive in between Palastina – Israel and America is the favourable country
to Israel. Then America not liked the decisions
of UNESCO on recognizing Palastina as a special country and America was strongly
opposed about subscription of Palastina in UNESCO. But, America continued its activities in UNESCO
office in Parries. Then, the officials of
US have been opposing the UNESCO’s behavior on anti-Israel issues. In this context, America withdrawn from the UNESCO
now and Israel expressed happiness about the decision taken by America. Israel also taken decision and withdrawn from UNESCO within the hours after withdrawn of America.
This is not a first
time, which America withdrawn from UNESCO. America withdrawn from UNESCO to protest against
Unesco behaving favouorable to Soviet Union In the year 1984 and it was re-joined
in UNESCO when J.W. Bush’s Presidency in the year of 2002
